Arrived in Reynosa!

So, it took us a while, but we have made it to Reynosa! Despite having left the earliest any Mexico team has ever, we only managed to cross the border five minutes after the border checkpoint closed. The Lord was with us. Trust me, I’ll tell the full story in a couple days.

At the moment, the sum total of our mission activity has been to sit in vans and unloads some boxes, but tomorrow, things pick up drastically. We have day one of Vacation Bible School and the first workday patching some walls and installing sound insulation in a worship space. At that point, we will actually have more to report.

I want to close this post with a special thank you to all the folks who showed up for the send off this afternoon. It meant a lot to have so many from our CrossRoads family come and pray over us. This blog can be a place for y’all to continue to show your support. If you like, you can leave a comment in the box below, and I will read them to the team each night at the end of the day. It can be a digital version of letters from home. We deeply appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and comments.

Vaya con Dios,

Pastor Trey
